Sabaku Samurai's personal favorite sword smith of ALL TIME.  Sword maker to the EMPEROR OF JAPAN and Imperial Household. Regarded by many as THE FINEST sword smith of the twentieth century.  Expert in the Soshu and Bizen tradition of sword making and Master of the secret family tradition of ayasugi hada.  Sadakatsu is also ranked as one of the most skilled horimono artists of the twentieth century.  This blade is exceptional, done in superb masame hada with a hamon of nie to get lost in.  The blade sports a dragon in deep relief and superb detail on one side and an exquisite carving of a ken sword on the other.  The blade is in top quality polish and shirasaya.

Signature reads; "Naniwa ju Gassan Sadakatsu kinsaku (kao)" and says that the sword was made to order for Mr. Ikeo.
